This project is for a visiting critic studio with Leen Katrib. The project was to be an archive of Mecca Flats; a historical housing complex that was demolished after IIT Campus of Chicago purchased the land and built Crown Hall upon. The archive would live in Crown Hall.

Mecca Flats 1951.
In the end, a counter-historical scenario was created to archive of what if Mies Van Der Rohe, the architect of Crown Hall, created a complex to house both students and school thus creating a new Mecca Flats with the material logic of Crown Hall. I call this project "Crown Center".
